What is the history of Solidiance’s Lebanon office?
Solidiance Lebanon is located in central Beirut, and was officially launched early 2016. It is Solidiance’s second office in the Middle East. Our Beirut office works closely with our Abu Dhabi office for engagement specific to the Middle East. Since the office’s inception, the team has grown fast and is currently composed of bright and dedicated Lebanese consultants with global exposure.
How is Solidiance different than other consulting firms in Lebanon?
Our Lebanon office is part of Solidiance’s execution hub in the Middle East. The team in Lebanon comprises of a native Lebanese staff who bring a unique set of Middle East understanding and experiences. Although they are locally-based, they possess a great understanding of the Arab World, which positions them well to serve regional clients’ needs and provide them with strategic courses of action. However, our Lebanese staff are not restricted to the Middle East only and have also completed engagements in South East Asia (in Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar) and central Asia.

Who heads up the Solidiance office in Lebanon?
The Solidiance office in Lebanon is headed up by Erika Welch. She brings over 8 years of regional strategy consulting experience, working with the leading corporations, government bodies and foundations in the Arab world. Erika’s consulting projects have given her exposure to more than 15 sectors, including Automotive, Construction, Healthcare, Telecom, Oil & Gas, and Government in the UAE, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, and Qatar. Erika holds a BSc from McGill University and a postgraduate certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge (UK). Erika speaks English, Japanese, and survival Arabic.
