On 11 July 2018, a B2B management consulting firm Solidiance announced their partnership with GO-JEK to conduct a feasibility study on electric motorcycles, or e-motorcycle, in the Jakarta area. According to Solidiance, they aim to measure the cost efficiency of e-motorcycle compared to fossil fuels. Gervasius Samosir, the Associate Partner at Solidiance, explains that the transition to electric vehicles is increasingly important due to the depletion of fossil fuels and their negative impacts on the environment.
