Nearly all ASEAN-6 nations are facing an unprecedented rise in healthcare cost in the coming decade, posing a major challenge to strained public health budgets. The current growth is estimated to reach USD 740 billion in 2025, an added burden of USD 320 billion from the year 2017. Nevertheless, the challenge also offers prospects for healthcare companies to fill the gaps. Solidiance report outlined five areas of opportunities by providing technologies and services to help ease key problems, such as: private hospitals, pharmaceuticals, medical devices manufacturers; consulting; geriatric care services; preventative healthcare services; as well as digitalisation.
